This should be interesting.
ReplyDude…
ReplyGolden… oh and needs some watermelon.
ReplyMan…
ReplyOh god.
ReplyYES!!! YES!!! YES!!!
ReplyYou have balls, I love it. Don’t back down, keep the crazy videos coming.
ReplyI most say you like to dance on the edge.
ReplyI respect that. As Todd said, you have balls.
I just hope you win the battle, idiotic narrowmindness only makes us more foolish and we desperately need brains.
I knew it, I knew it was coming, a black puppet! It’s so on, now the Social Media Puppet show is coming for you. http://socialmediapuppetshow.com let the puppet battle begin.
ReplyWayne,
You seem like a nice guy, but your shit sucks. Seriously, no offense or anything, but as I used to say on the field. “You’re not good enough to hold my jockstrap.” Wayne focus on your own voice, your own vibe. Don’t try and compete with me. It’s a poor strategic move long term to ride my wake. Just find your own voice.
ReplyAnd Wayne when you do find your own voice, you will know as its the true best ride out there you will ever be on..
ReplyThe more web 2.0 puppets, the merrier!
Wayne, rock on. I don’t think anyone is mistaking your stuff for Loren’s. You use Seesmic, for fuck’s sake. How lame is *that*? There are better mediums out there then Seesmic. Do your research. You’ll find them.
That said - rock on with your stuff, Wayne.
ReplyBoof,
The Seesmic comment was a low blow.
ReplyI must agree my puppet show is terrible, as I don’t have the humor or personality as Loren Feldman, I think I know what I do well and I’m going to stick to it but in the mean time, I’m going to pimp puppets on the social media puppet show.
As for seesmic, I know there are plenty of other video sharing networks out there but the seesmic community and puppets seem to match to me… my opinion.
One thing about the internet, videos, and people, you must have a tough skin to do what you’re doing especially if you’re going to talk about social media. No matter if you’re Loren Feldman or Wayne Sutton you take your hits and keep on going.
See you online.
Wayne
ReplyKeep The Heads Ringin
We Got ya Back Loren
ReplyOne more thing, thanks for the reply Loren and that is a good point and advice for everyone.
“Don’t try and compete with me. It’s a poor strategic move long term to ride my wake. Just find your own voice.”
Replythat’s some funny shit. turn down the voice modulator.
Replyhahaha nice!
ReplyHa! I got hungry all of a sudden. Nice, Loren. I can’t wait for this… and btw, rockin’ shirt
ReplyReally? MORE racial stereotyping Loren? Doing it with puppets doesn’t make it any less racially offensive. Instead of acknowledging that “hey, maybe I’m out of step with a large part of society regarding race, so I’ll focus on my other strengths” you decide to dig yourself a deeper hole with more racially offensive stereotyping (thinking that maybe this time it’s okay because, hey, it’s just puppets right?). I guess brilliant decision making like this is why your 40+ years on this planet have been so depressingly unsuccessful. Here’s hoping commercial organizations like PodTech, CNet and Verizon continue to avoid doing business with you.
ReplyI wonder if Yue would continue to be so supportive if Loren rolled out the “Where are the ‘Oriental’ Tech Bloggers” and then presented us with a bucked toothed, tiny eyed, broken english Asian puppet. Oh yes, that would be soooo funny. I’m sure Yue would whole heartedly support that, right?
Replyhold tha doe mo fo loren feldman comin thru
ReplyCJ are you stereotyping asians…Hmmmm. sounds like the pots calling the kettle black.
ReplyYou mean “pots calling the kettle African-American.”
We have to be politically correct, after all.
ReplyI support Loren. If he really came out with “Where are the oriental tech bloggers” I’d challenge him. I’d kick his ass. And I’d still support the mofo.
ReplyYou’re too mean and cynical for my taste, and as a woman, I’m not crazy for your mostly-male humor, but I respect your talents. And I’m happy that you are fighting back against the PC mongers. I respect your conviction and your guts.
ReplyI reespect you balls.
Can I touch zem?
ReplyToo Funny. Like nobody saw this coming. Pansy Tech Blogosphere. I am currently applying to fill the “cripple” quota of the newly formed 1938 Media Affirmative Action Program.
Reply“… the jew cracker…” - priceless
from one jew cracker to another, rock on Mo
Reply“Some may think I’m the head Digg-er in charge. I’m just a Digg-er, just like any other Digg-er..”
lol
“Digg” it
Replytoo soon
ReplySeriously, I don’t understand how you can have a happy life with all this negativity around you. Don’t you get tired of it?
ReplyFriend Loren,
I am SO DOWN with your artistic follow-through, my brother. So down wiv it that I want to reach out and touch the screen, ya heard?
For realz…
I mean, check it: the guano hits the fan, and out you come with the new puppet. Loren, your gusto and the massive forward thrust should become, in their own rights and completely divorced from all the apparent controversy swirling around the “he said/she said” tra-la-la accusations/counteraccusations, an HBS Business Case on its own merits. I feed off your tenaciousness, my brother. So feed off of it.
Whether or not I think it’s a wise move is not for me, nor anyone else, to advocate.
PEOPLE, LISTEN UP!!!
L. Feldman: artist, par excellence.
Us: willing spectators (and those of you who don’t dig the stuff but *attempt* to fry Loren’s mighty posterior are just plain missing the point. If you’re here kvetching, you’re interested, full stop. Don’t obfuscate, m’kay?).
What I was thinking was this: In the US, this plays badly. Over 30 million persons who declare themselves to be members of the African-American community. A very significant visible minority.
Here in the former Bloc, hardly any Africans, yet those who do live here are lauded, and for the most part welcomed, invited to become full functioning constructive members of our local Czech society.
Puppet shows like these? We’re intelligent enough to know what they represent. We know what Loren’s trying to do. We’re wiv ‘im, you feelin’ me?
Racism? You cracked?
WE EUROPEANS invented the g.oddamn term, we perfected the process. We are the progenitors of this. Killing with precision. Barricading people in ghettos and camps…dare I go on?
If WE — of all the planet’s heavenly peoples — can tolerate a tawny-skinned puppet and go home to giggle about it over a pint — still welcoming the darker-skinned “brothers from another mother” in our societal midst, then so should you.
Gawd…thankfully I’ve skipped lunch today. Otherwise I’d be having a major Morgan Spurlock supersized case of “the gurgles.”
Loren — hammer that chin music forward, m’man. Bring that shit on. Hard.
Do not kowtow to the Thought Police and the New Orwellians. Raus!

ReplyHey Adam,
Have you ever considered the possibility that you are unconsciously gay? If you haven’t, you should.;-)
ReplyI think we’re all far more gay than we’re willing to admit Vince, but I see what you mean.
Terms like “forward thrust”, “Loren’s mighty posterior” and “hammer that chin forward” are all fairly homoerotic…
ReplyThanks, Andrew, but no one is more willing to admit he’s gay than me. Fat lot of good it does, though. I have that craggy Gary Cooper look, and people don’t believe me, especially gays.
They think I’m a hustler (I don’t look bad for my age).
I’m just hoping Adam will be more conscious of how he ‘comes’ off here.
ReplyI can’t take it. I can’t take. My side is splitting!!
ReplyHi gang,
You may have a point there…
ReplyI laughed so hard. This was my favorite (or top 5) in the puppet series. All I can say is the black puppet is genius.
ReplyAffirmative Action At 1938 Media Should have been formatted like this: Affirmative Action @ 1938 Media
WTF Loren!!!
Reply@wayne - how could you sit there and be all chummy with him when he’s mocking african americans? that’s pretty sad dude. good to see you have some balls.
ReplySo what do you say sportsgirl..dinner and a movie?
ReplyWe will see…..Keep at it and you will get exactly what you deserve!
ReplyWayne’s puppet show doesn’t really compare to Loren’s. That is, unless Wayne also interviews the Zivity CEO, then we have a contest.
Replyis that a threat??
Reply“focus on your own voice, your own vibe…”
best comment of the day, week, month, etc…
Loren, you got a fan in me. I thought that video sucked, but I’m a fan! I can’t wait to see the next one….
ReplyI was just reading about the Polish gentleman who was so afraid of being burglarized that he booby-trapped every part of his house.
He died when he opened his garage door.
oops..
ReplyIrrepressible, and freakin hilarious.
ReplyIn for a penny in for a pound, eh, Loren?
ReplyTom, All in bro, all in.
ReplyAmazing, can someone please post the traslation to spanish of this. As accurate as possible please.
ReplyThere is something you have to respect about pushing an issue as far as it will carry. We’ll probably be hearing about this series in about 18 months, should be a lark.
ReplyLoren, you should contact Sigga from JTV to help you out.
ReplyThis is what I would call “using Salaami tactics” har har
Replyhaha, awesome!
